““Now my soul is greatly distressed. And what should I say? ‘Father, deliver me from this hour’? No, but for this very reason I have come to this hour.”, John 12:27 NET
• Jesus’ soul was distressed, greatly distressed! Even though He perfectly trusted the Father and perfectly submitted to the Father’s will, Jesus’ soul was still greatly distressed.
“Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.””, John 12:28 NET
• There is something to God being in the sky (yes He is everywhere) but His voice came from the sky, Jesus looked up at the sky when praying at times, and Jesus was taken away in the sky. Why is this I wonder? Maybe his voice came from beyond space so all of space heard God’s voice (if there is anyone out there somewhere). In other words, the general direction to where God seems to be is up. I wonder why?
